Last night, feeling unstoppable from our victory over Mirmiron, we boldly ventured on towards General Vezax.  Sounded rather complicated on first read, and first watch of the Tankspot vid, however, we quickly found that the key to the fight was positioning, and once we had that nailed on the 3rd attempt, boss went down. 

This raid requires a delicatly balanced group, as 4 people need to stay more then 15yrds from the boss, with everyone else within 15 yrds.  Sounds simple I hear you say.  Not so, ideally you don't want any healers more than 15yrds away if you can avoid it, as they can be hit by Shadow Crash, taking a bit of damage, but more importantly, then having to move from the black ooze that reduces the healing by 75%.  The other complication in this fight is Mana regeneration, in that there is none.  Yep you heard me right, no normal Mana Regen.  Only 4 mana regen abilities work, Ret pallys Judgement of the Wise, Tankadins Spiritual Attunement, Shamans Shamanistic Rage & Hunters Aspect of the Viper.

Tonight we took our younger experienced raiders through TOTC and Onyxia, accompanied by our experienced raiders. Onyxia was defeated in one go, and TOTC was cleared in one evening.  This is another guild first. Teamwork, and support was excellent throughout, and we look forward to returning to TOTC next week again with the same momentum, hopefully bringing
